As spring approaches, the SRG/ILS Group readies a line-up of music releases with powerhouse artists on the roster, including PJ Morton, Lalah Hathaway, Gulf Coast Records, Randy Brecker and Christopher Williams, just to name a few.
SRG/ILS recently announced our new collaboration with PJ Morton and his imprint Morton Records. PJ is coming off his most recent Grammy win for Best Gospel Album. His new release, dropping this summer, will hit all the marks that his fans expect and more.
After an incredibly successful collaboration with Lalah Hathaway on her 2x Grammy nominated 2024 release, VANTABLACK and the companion release VANTABLACK: EXPANSION PACK which also included multiple Grammy nominations, Lalah returns with a new album in the classic R&B style that is part of her DNA and her hometown of Chicago.
Our partnership with Gulf Coast Records brings us a slate of established and new Blues/Rock artists including release from Mike Zito, Albert Castiglia, Jason Ricci, Kevin Burt, The Boneshakers, Kelli Baker, and many more. Mike Zito leads the way with his new album “Outside Or The Eastside” about his hometown, St Louis. Zito reconnects with the sounds, stories, and hard lessons that forged his signature blend of soul-driven blues and fearless storytelling.
Christopher Williams, actor and R&B star, is back with a new project with the help of many of the best producers and songwriters in R&B and Hip Hop. Christopher kicked off his return to the music scene, with the first single from the upcoming project, “Good Enough” which is currently an R&B radio and streaming hit.
Jazz Trumpet legend Randy Brecker is finishing up his debut for SRG Jazz, Espirito. Randy is a true legend and innovator who has helped shape the sound of Jazz, R&B and Rock for over six decades. His trumpet and flugelhorn performances have graced hundreds of albums by a wide range of artists from James Taylor, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Parliament/Funkadelic, Frank Sinatra, Steely Dan, Jaco Pastorius, Aretha Franklin, Elton John, and Frank Zappa.
