Brown has been producing “Straight-Up” R&B since 2010 and has several Top 10 R&B radio hits under his belt. With his new music J. wants to take the next step, broadening his audience and his message with more of the smooth feel-good vibes he has been known to deliver.
J. Brown expresses his inspiration better than any one else could. “I want to bring back that ‘feel-good music’. I want to bring back something that will ultimately cause people to fall in love. I want to take people back to where we once used to be in terms of music…that real love music… that long-term love relationship type of music. Nowadays we’re hearing that ‘hit-it-and-quit-it” type of music versus music of substance. We need more music with a moral foundation, and that’s what I want to put out there.”
