Deadline Hollywood has announced the nominees for the 2017 NAACP Image Awards. Brian McKnight‘s critically acclaimed album ‘Genesis‘ is up for two awards in the categories of Outstanding Album and Outstanding Male Artist. The awards are set for January 15, 2018. The NAACP Image Awards celebrates the accomplishments of people of color in the fields of television, music, literature and film, and also honors individuals or groups who promote social justice through creative endeavors. NAACP members vote to select NAACP Image Awards winners from nominees in television, music literature, and film.
