The SRG/ILS Group congratulates our friend and partner Warryn Campbell for winning a Grammy last night for his songwriting on the Kanye West and Jay-Ztrack “Jail” from Kanye’s Donda album. Warryn has multiple writing and producing credits on the album.
Warryn Campbell is a Producer, Writer, and Performer as well as the founder of MyBlock Records the home of Gospel and R&B superstars Mary Mary, Erica Campbell, The Walls Group, and many others. Warryn’s productions have sold millions of records and streamed billions of times. Warryn has received multiple Grammy nominations and awards for his work with Jennifer Hudson, Mary Mary, Kanye West, Missy Elliott, and Alicia Keys.
One of Warryn’s most recent productions is the new single from his wife and frequent collaborator Erica Campbell. Written by Warryn, Erica Campbell, and Juan Winans, “Positive” is the first track from Erica’s forthcoming third solo album due in September 2022.
